Training Programmes for Migrants & Employees

When choosing training or development courses, it is useful to consider what interests you have and select training which would best assist you in gaining employment in your desired field.  

Aimed at migrants, the EPIC programme offers a free course that covers everything from CV writing, interview skills & preparation to business vocabulary and IT skills training. Find more information on the EPIC Programme.

The Irish Refugee Council has a programme that helps women that have recently arrived in Ireland with pre-employment training and support, English language training, mentoring, supported work experience and volunteering placements. More information on the Women's Employment Programme.

Funded by the European Commission but provided by the Irish Refugee Council, the Business & Entrepreneur Incubator Project supports people in Ireland from a migrant background by recognising entrepreneurial potential that they bring with them and supports early stages of start-up businesses.

The Open Doors Initiative provides opportunities for people from a migrant background to find employment. As part of that, and working with their partners, offer several online courses across a range of areas like CV building, interview skills, project management, digital marketing, or upskilling in general.
